Here are 3 simple home remedies which will help you to get over cracked heels issues.

Oatmeal-Jojoba oil remedy for cracked heels

Oatmeal known for its exfoliating effects and jojoba oil known for bringing in the lost moisture is a great way to heal the cracked heels. You would need 1 tbsp of oatmeal powder and Jojoba oil enough to make a paste. In a bowl mix both the ingredients and fill in the cracks with it and massage gently. Let it rest for 30 minutes. Wash off and pat dry. Do it everyday for effective results.

Lemon Juice

Lemon juice not only acts as a bleaching agent but also helps in whitening the skin and is also a great agent for healing cracked heels. Cut a lemon in two halves and take one half of it. Rub this lemon half on your feet while squeezing it so that the juice is transferred to your heels. Do this for five minutes. Now gently scrub your feet with a soft cloth or brush. Wash off with water. You can also use it by soaking your feet in a small bucket filled with warm water that has the juice of one lemon. Soak your feet for 15-20 minutes. Repeat this 2-3 times a week. You can also mix lemon juice with mashed papaya and apply this to your cracks on heels. Wash with normal water after 15-20 minutes.

Banana and avocado mask

Also avocados are rich in several essential oils, vitamins, and fats that helps in repairing dry skin, whereas banana works as a moisturizer and makes your skin softer and smoother. Blend 1 ripe banana and ½ avocado and then shift it to a bowl. Apply this thick, creamy paste over your heels and feet and keep it for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water. Do it regularly.
